Market wrap: VN-Index moves sideways, Vingroup stocks drop 

The VN-Index inched down by a tenth of a percent on Thursday with trading turnover on HOSE slumping to USD370.1mn as investors were cautious due to the approaching long holiday. 

* Vingroup tickers VIC (-2.7%), VHM (-1.0%) and VRE (-1.8%) declined. 

* Dairy manufacturer VNM (-2.1%) has dropped in six out of the past seven trading sessions. 

* GAS (-1.3%) retreated following its 1.5% gain on Wednesday. 

* Real estate stocks PDR (+5.0%), DXG (+4.8%) and DIG (+3.5%) experienced big increases. 

* Other notable gainers include SAB (+1.3%), MSN (+1.3%) and PLX (+1.5%).
