Market wrap: VN-Index recovers after two losing sessions 

The VN-Index started July with a half of a percent gain on Monday as investors picked up shares at bargain prices following two consecutive losing sessions. 

* BID (+2.6%) was the top contributor to the day’s gain. Meanwhile, fellow bank TCB (-1.1%) dropped for the third straight session and was the day’s top contributing laggard. 

* GVR (+3.9%) has increased 5.8% over the last two trading days. 

* In the real estate sector, VHM (+1.6%) and BCM (+2.1%) advanced. Conversely, NVL (-2.0%) has plunged 6.7% over the past three sessions. 

* VHC (+6.9%) surged to the daily trading ceiling, hitting a five-month high.
