Market wrap: VN-Index rallies at end of trading, turnover hits four-month high

On Tuesday, a strong rally in the final hour of trading caused the VN-Index to close up by three-tenths of a percent. In addition, trading turnover on HOSE hit a four-month high of USD699.2mn.

* VCB (+1.5%) was the top contributing gainer for the second day in a row.

* In the real estate sector, NVL (+2.3%) and PDR (+5.8%) climbed. On the other hand, VHM (-1.1%) was the day’s leading contributing laggard.

* GVR (+1.1%) has finished higher in four consecutive sessions.

* Energy stocks GAS (-1.0%) and PGV (-2.8%) declined.
