Market wrap: VN-Index gains 0.1% to open week 

The VN-Index opened the week gaining 0.1% (+1.4 pts) and finishing the trading day at 1,182.9. There was mixed performance seen across sectors as the number of gainers (246) and laggards (223) were nearly even, while there were 119 stocks that were unchanged. Total trading volume jumped to USD761.5mn.  

* Banks ACB (+1.4%), VPB (+0.5%), HDB (+1.2%), and SSB (+0.7%) were among the top-10 most positively contributing stocks to the index advancing. VCB (-0.7%) most negatively affected the market and BID (-0.1%) and STB (-0.2%) also declined.  

* In real estate, NVL (+5.5%), DIG (+2.1%), and PDR (+1.5%) strongly increased while VHM (-0.1%), KBC (-2.5%), and KDH (-0.6%) fell. VRE (0.0%) was unchanged. * In food & beverage, VNM (+0.4%) and HAG (+2.2%) increased. MSN (-0.2%) and SAB (-0.8%) decreased.  

* Steel maker HPG (+1.8%) was a notable gainer. GAS (-0.5%) and rubber producer GVR (-1.2%) were two noteworthy decliners.
