Market wrap: VN-Index edges up for fifth straight positive session

The VN-Index was down for most of Monday, but a reversal at the end of trading caused the index to close up by two-tenths of a percent and notch its fifth consecutive positive session.

* VNM (+2.2%) was the day’s top contributing gainer and has climbed 7.8% over the last four trading days. 

* Industrial real estate players GVR (+3.2%) and KBC (+3.4%) increased. 

* Retailer MWG (+3.4%) has finished higher in five out of the last six sessions. 

* Banks TCB (+1.2%) and ACB (+1.6%) advanced.
