Market wrap: Stocks cool down from Monday’s gain, VN-Index trades sideways

On Tuesday, the VN-Index could not carry over the positive momentum from the strong gain in the previous session as it traded sideways to close up by less than a tenth of a percent 

* BID (+0.9%) was the day’s top contributing gainer. Fellow banks LPB (+2.6%) and TPB (+1.3%) also advanced. On the other hand, VCB (-0.7%) retreated after its 5.1% gain over the previous two trading days and was the day’s top contributing laggard. 

* GAS (+1.1%) climbed for the second day in a row. 

* Industrial real estate developer KBC (+5.4%) has jumped 13.2% since April 25.
