VIC posted Q3 2021 revenue of VND30.1tn (USD1.3bn; -16% YoY) and a net loss of VND351bn (USD15mn; vs Q3 2020 NPAT-MI of VND1.5tn/USD67mn) partly due to (1) lower revenue from the retail leasing and hospitality segments as they were impacted by mandatory closures during the fourth wave of COVID-19 in Vietnam and (2) VIC’s sponsorship for anti-COVID activities that amounted to VND4.2tn (USD183mn) in 9M 2021.
