- VHC announced Q2 2022 results with revenue jumping 80.4% YoY to VND4.2tn (USD183.7mn) and NPAT-MI surging 201% YoY to VND784bn (USD34mn). For 6M 2022, revenue was VND7.5tn (USD326mn; +81.4% YoY) and NPAT-MI was VND1.3tn (USD58mn; +241% YoY). 

- The robust NPAT-MI growth in H1 2022 was thanks to a 166% YoY increase in gross profit against a 22% increase in SG&A and 34% decrease in net financial income.

- In H1 2022, VHC’s like-for-like revenue (i.e., core pangasius business excluding Sa Giang — VHC’s prawn cracker subsidiary since January 2021) soared 86% YoY (Q2 2022: +84% YoY) on the back of an 82% YoY increase (Q2 2022: +85% YoY) in sales of frozen pangasius fillets and related products (e.g., breaded fish, fish fat, fish meal and feed).
