The VN-Index gave up its morning gain to close at 1,097.54 (-0.18%). Stocks in the VN30 index traded in balance with 15 gainers and 15 losers. The financial sector, led by declines at VCB (-1.3%), BVH (-3%), BID (-0.6%) and HCM (-1.9%) contributed most to the index's loss; followed by the materials sector with losses at HPG (-1.7%), HSG (-0.9%) and HT1 (-1.7%).
