Market wrap: VN-Index trades sideways as trading turnover slumps to seven-week low

The VN-Index traded sideways on Thursday, closing up by less than a tenth of a percent as trading turnover on HOSE slumped to a seven-week low of USD282.2mn. * VPB (-1.8%) was the day’s top contributing laggard. 

* VHC (+3.2%) has jumped more than 10% over the last five trading days. 

* Insurer BVH (+1.8%) posted its first positive session since April 11. 

* Real estate developer NVL (-1.0%) dropped for the second day in a row.
