Market wrap: VN-Index snaps two-day losing streak 

The VN-Index snapped a two-day losing streak on Wednesday, gaining eight tenths of a percent as investors’ concerns regarding the impact of the Evergrande debt crisis on the Vietnamese market were lessened. 

*  VNM (+3.0%) jumped to a two-month high and was the leading contributor to the day’s gain. 

*  Insurer BVH (+5.9%) has increased 10.1% so far this week. 

*  Chemical manufacturer DGC (+7.0%) surged to the daily trading ceiling and extended its winning streak to nine straight sessions. 

*  GVR (+1.6%) bounced back after falling 5.6% over the previous two days. 

*  VCB (+1.5%) increased; however, fellow banks VIB (-1.8%), CTG (-0.5%), ACB (-0.6%) and OCB (-1.2%) were the day’s top four contributing decliners.
