Market wrap: VN-Index snaps three-session losing streak

The VN-Index gained half of a percent on Wednesday and ended a three-session losing streak as bank, insurance and real estate stocks performed well. 

* Banks VCB (+1.5%), CTG (+1.7%), LPB (+4.1%) were among the day’s top contributing gainers. On the other hand, MBB (-1.0%) fell for its fourth straight session. 

* Insurer BVH (+5.1%) snapped a four-session losing streak. 

* Real estate players DXG (+6.2%) and DIG (+4.0%) experienced strong gains. 

* Steel manufacturer HPG (-1.8%) has tumbled 6.4% over the last four trading days.
