The VN-Index fell by 0.57% and closed at 1,994.05 in the last session of the week amid weakness in global equity markets and strong net selling pressure from foreign investors. Foreign investors were net sellers by VND1,339bn (nearly USD57mn), causing specific negative pressure on NVL (-2.7%), VRE (-2.9%), VHM (-1.9%), POW (-3.3%) and VNM (-0.8%). Financial tickers traded mixed as VCB, VPB, HDB and STB declined while EIB, VCI, BVH and VND increased.
