Market wrap: VN-Index sinks to four-week low

The VN-Index tumbled 1.3% on Friday, dropping to a four-week low as investors continue to be concerned about recent high-profile cases of market improprieties.  For the week, the VN-Index fell 2.3% — its second biggest weekly decline thus far in 2022.

*  The banking sector performed poorly, led by declines from BID (-2.7%), VPB (-2.5%), VIB (-3.6%) and CTG (-1.5%).

*  GVR (-4.0%) has dropped 5.8% over the last two days.
