The VN-Index dropped a tenth of a percent on Thursday to snap a run of four straight positive sessions as trading turnover on HOSE fell to USD656.4mn. 

* NVL (-1.5%) ended a four-day winning streak and was the day’s top contributing decliner. 

* Banks BID (-1.0%) and CTG (-1.2%) fell. 

* SAB (+2.6%) is up 6.5% so far this week. 

* VIC (+1.2%) advanced to a one-month high. 

* GAS (+1.2%) climbed and snapped a three-day losing streak.
