The VN-Index closed down for the first time since March 26, falling six tenths of a percent as several banking tickers slid. VIC (-1.8%) posted its first decline since March 23 and was the leading contributor to the day’s loss. Most banks cooled off, led by VCB (-1.9%), BID (-1.6%), VIB (-3.9%) and MBB (-1.9%). Meanwhile, HDB (+1.1%) has advanced in 10 out of the last 11 trading sessions. GEX (+4.6%) extended its hot streak and is up more than 18% this week.
