Market wrap: VN-Index recovers from four-session losing streak

The VN-Index increased by three tenths of a percent on Wednesday as investors picked up shares following the index’s four-session losing streak.

* MSN (+3.8%) was the top contributor to the day’s gain.

* Industrial real estate players BCM (+6.9%), GVR (+2.2%) and KBC (+6.7%) reversed course after their recent losses.

* Securities brokerages SSI (+6.9%), VND (+6.9%) and VCI (+6.9%) snapped their losing streaks as they surged to the daily trading ceiling.

* Banks BID (-2.8%), VCB (-0.9%), CTG (-2.2%), SHB (-6.9%), STB (-2.9%), HDB (-2.0%) and MBB (-1.0%) were among the day’s top contributing laggards.

* DIG’s (-6.9%) share price has plummeted 35% over the last six trading sessions.
