Market wrap: VN-Index inches up, extends winning streak to seven sessions 

The VN-Index barely kept its winning streak alive on Tuesday, closing up by less than a tenth of a percent with most blue-chip tickers falling as investors took profits.

* VIC (+1.1%) was the leading contributing gainer for the second day in a row. Furthermore, Vingroup subsidiary VRE (+1.1%) has increased 5.7% over the past two days.

* MWG (+2.0%) climbed to a fresh all-time high.

* Chemical manufacturer DGC (+5.4%) hit a three-week high.

* On the negative side, MSN (-1.0%) and PNJ (-2.0%) both ended two-session winning streaks.
