Market wrap: VN-Index inches down, snaps six-session winning streak 

On Wednesday, the VN-Index inched down by a tenth of a percent as investors booked profits from the index’s six-session winning streak. Large-cap stocks weighed on the overall index as the VN30 Index dropped by a half of a percent with 22 of its 30 components falling.

* GAS (-2.3%) snapped a three-session winning streak and was day’s top contributing decliner. Petroleum distributor PLX (-1.4%) also declined. 

* All three Vingroup tickers dropped: VHM (-1.0%), VIC (-1.0%) and VRE (-1.0%). 

* MSN (-1.0%) retreated after gaining 8.6% over the previous two days. 

* GVR (+2.2%) has increased for five consecutive sessions. 

* DGC (+6.4%) and DPM (+4.5%) have respectively gained more than 22% and 14% over the last four trading sessions.
