Market wrap: VN-Index hits three-month high, extends winning streak to six sessions

On Wednesday, the VN-Index rose for its sixth straight session, closing up by nine-tenths of a percent to hit a three-month high of 1,098.28 as large-cap stocks led the way. 

* VIC (+2.7%) was the top contributor to the day’s gain. Conversely, Vingroup subsidiary VRE (-1.8%) pulled back from its 4.7% gain on Tuesday and was the session’s top contributing laggard. 

* Consumer sector tickers MSN (+2.5%), MWG (+4.4%) and FPT (+1.7%) increased. 

* Industrial real estate players BCM (+1.2%) and GVR (+1.6%) finished higher. 

* VJC (+1.5%) has climbed 4.7% over the last two days.
