Market wrap: VN-Index gains 1.1%, snaps three-session losing streak

The VN-Index jumped 1.1% on Tuesday as buying demand increased following the index’s decline over the previous three trading sessions. 

*  MSN (+4.4%) was the top contributor to the day’s gain and has climbed 6.2% over the last two days.

*  GVR (+5.3%) ended a three-session decline. 

*  Real estate players VHM (+1.8%) and NVL (+4.0%) advanced. 

*  Securities brokerages SSI (+7.0%) and VND (+6.9%) soared to the daily trading ceiling. VCI (+3.7%) and HCM (+3.3%) also gained. 

*  Banks were mostly down, led by BID (-1.9%), VPB (-1.2%) and CTG (-1.2%). Meanwhile, TPB (+4.7%) has surged 13.4% over the past three sessions.
