Market wrap: VN-Index falls below 1,500

The VN-Index slid eight tenths of a percent to close at 1,492.31 on Tuesday, slumping to a two-week low and extending its losing streak to three consecutive sessions. 

*  MSN (-5.3%) tumbled to an 11-week low and was the leading contributor to the day’s loss. 

*  Vingroup tickers VIC (-1.3%), VHM (-2.1%) and VRE (-2.3%) all dropped. 

*  Industrial real estate players GVR (-2.4%) and KBC (-6.8%) declined; however, BCM (+7.0%) climbed to the daily trading ceiling for the second day in a row. 

*  DIG (+7.0%) surged to an all-time high. 

*  Securities brokerages VND (-5.4%), VCI (-5.3%), SSI (-2.9%) and HCM (-4.0%) continued their downtrend.
