Market wrap: VN-Index ends two-session losing streak
The VN-Index climbed seven-tenths of a percent on Tuesday to end a two-session losing streak as trading turnover on HOSE dropped nearly 33% from the previous session to USD590.6mn.
* In the banking sector, VCB (+4.2%), BID (+2.0%), CTG (+1.8%) and MBB (+1.1%) increased.
* GVR (+6.8%) surged to the daily trading ceiling.
* GAS (+1.2%) has climbed 3.2% over the last two days. Meanwhile, petroleum distributor PLX (-1.5%) dropped for the third consecutive trading session.
* On the negative side, real estate players DIG (-4.5%), KBC (-2.7%) and DXG (-4.4%) plunged.
