Market wrap: VN-Index ends three-session winning streak

On Wednesday, the VN-Index looked to be on the way to its fourth straight positive session until selling pressure emerged on blue-chip stocks in the afternoon, causing the index to close down by two tenths of a percent.

* MSN (-5.3%) fell for its fourth straight session and was the top contributor to the day’s loss.

* Among Vingroup tickers, VHM (-1.3%) and VIC (-1.0%) both fell. On the other hand, VRE (+6.9%) soared to the daily trading ceiling.

* Banks VCB (-1.3%), VPB (-1.5%), ACB (-2.0%) and MBB (-2.4%) dropped.

* Airline VJC (-2.4%) has declined 4.1% over the past two days.

* GAS (+3.0%) jumped to a six-week high.

* DIG (+7.0%) has surged 14.4% in the last two sessions.
