Market wrap: VN-Index edges down as VIC tumbles at end of session

The VN-Index gained 1.0% for the week. In addition, the VN-Index concluded July up seven-tenths of a percent, snapping a three-month losing streak.
* VIC (-4.5%) was the top contributor to the day’s loss. Conversely, Vingroup subsidiary VHM (+1.9%) climbed for the second day in a row and was the leading contributor among gainers.
* Brewer SAB (+4.0%) jumped and finished the week up 8.4%. Meanwhile, fellow food & beverage manufacturer MSN (-3.5%) declined.
