Market wrap: VN-Index declines for third straight session

The VN-Index fell three tenths of a percent on Tuesday — its third straight daily loss — with trading turnover on HOSE falling for the fifth consecutive session. 

* VIC (-1.8%) was the top contributor to the day’s loss. 

* Dairy manufacturer VNM (-1.2%) backtracked following its 1.2% gain on Monday. Meanwhile, fellow food & beverage players MSN (+1.3%) and SAB (+1.6%) increased. 

* HPG (-1.1%) fell for its third session in a row. 

* REE (-4.1%) has slumped 7.5% over the last four trading days. 

* VCB (+1.4%) was the day’s top contributing gainer.
