Market wrap: VN-Index continues to trade sideways

On Wednesday, the VN-Index traded sideways for the second day in a row, closing up by less than a tenth of a percent despite a strong performance from the real estate sector. 

* VIC (+2.1%) was the day’s top contributing gainer. 

* MSN (+2.1%) extended its winning streak to eight consecutive sessions. 

* Real estate tickers NVL (+1.7%), PDR (+6.8%), BCM (+1.9%) and DXG (+2.9%) advanced. 

* BID (-1.2%) fell for the second day in a row. 

* Other notable laggards included GAS (-1.0%), MWG (-1.5%) and HPG (-1.0%).
