Market wrap: VN-Index closed the week with a strong gain 

The VN-Index soared by 2.5% on Friday and closed at a 2-week high as foreign investors continued to be net buyers on the market with net purchases of USD38.8mn.  

* The financials sector was the biggest contributor to the VN-Index’s gain, led by rallies from BID, CTG, TCB and VPB.  

* Most real estate stocks performed well, including VIC, VHM, KDH, DIG and KBC. However, NVL and PDR again closed limit down.       

* Consumer tickers traded mixed with gains from MSN, VNM, FRT and DGW and losses from SAB, VHC, GDT and GMC.
