Market wrap: Stocks rebound from Tuesday’s decline 

The VN-Index rebounded six tenths of a percent on Wednesday as the market continued to be buoyed by the prospects of Vietnam’s economy improving as the COVID-19 situation fades.

* VIC (+1.6%) advanced to a nearly three-month high and was the top contributor to the day’s gain.

* PLX (+5.6%) soared to its highest share price since June 2019. 

* Industrial real estate players BCM (+4.6%) and GVR (+1.6%) increased. 

* GEX (+6.7%) returned to its uptrend and is now up 58.8% since November 4. 

* Securities brokerages VND (+6.9%), SSI (+2.5%) and VCI (+1.8%) climbed. 

* On the negative side, blue-chip tickers HPG (-1.1%) and MSN (-1.0%) were the top two contributing laggards.
