Market wrap: Stocks edge up, led by MWG, Vingroup tickers 

Despite a sharp fall in the final hour of trading, the VN-Index still increased by a tenth of a percent on Thursday as several real estate tickers rose in response to a rebound in global markets. 

• MWG (+5.0%) jumped to a new all-time high and was the top contributor to the day’s gain. 
• VIC (+1.2%) and its subsidiaries VHM (+1.7%) and VRE (+1.6%) climbed. 
• KBC (+3.6%) has gained 8.9% over the last three days. 
• On the negative side, MSN (-1.4%) ended a two-day winning streak and was the day’s top contributing laggard. In addition, chemical manufacturer DGC (-7.0%) plummeted to the daily trading floor, marking its first daily loss since September 9.
