Market wrap: Large-cap stocks pull down VN-Index

The VN-Index fell nine-tenths of a percent on Monday. Large-cap stocks weighed heavily on the index, which was evidenced by the VN30 Index declining 1.5%. 

* VCB (-2.0%) was the leading contributor to the day’s loss. Fellow banks CTG (-2.4%), BID (-1.2%) and ACB (-2.6%) also declined. 

* Vingroup stocks VIC (-2.4%), VHM (-2.2%) and VRE (-4.7%) all dropped. 

* GAS (-2.6%) decreased for its second session in a row. 

* NVL (-6.8%) tumbled to the trading floor for the 13th consecutive trading day. 

* GVR (+7.0%) has surged 30% over the last four sessions.
