Market wrap: GVR leads VN-Index to fourth straight positive session 

The VN-Index advanced two tenths of a percent on Wednesday and extended its winning streak to four straight sessions despite cautious sentiment ahead of the upcoming two-day holiday. 

  • GVR (+3.5%) continued its hot streak. The company’s share price has jumped nearly 14% since August 25. 
  • POW (+5.1%) hit a 10-week high and has increased in five out of the past six trading sessions. 
  • VRE (+2.2%) climbed for its seventh session in a row. 
  • BCM (+2.3%) is up 9.6% over the last three days. 
  • MSN (-1.3%) was the day’s top contributor among decliners.
