Market wrap: Foreign investors end net selling run, VN-Index advances 1% 

The VN-Index climbed 1% on Tuesday as foreign investors returned as net buyers after 17 consecutive sessions of net selling and 27 of the large-cap VN30 Index’s components finished higher. 

* MSN (+5.2%) jumped following its 9.3% drop over the four previous trading sessions. 

* Several banks experienced strong gains, including BID (+2.4%), VCB (+1.0%), CTG (+2.3%), VPB (+1.7%), EIB (+6.8%) and HDB (+2.8%). 

* HPG (+3.4%) advanced for the second day in a row. 

* Real estate developer NVL (-1.8%) fell after it hit the daily trading ceiling on Monday.
