Market wrap: Fertilizer stocks surge, lifting VN-Index 

The VN-Index closed up by six tenths of a percent on Wednesday while investor sentiment remained cautious due to geopolitical tensions. 

• VJC (+3.8%) snapped a two-day losing streak and was the top contributor to the day’s gain. 
• Fertilizer producers DPM (+7.0%) and DCM (+7.0%) both soared to the daily trading ceiling. 
• DIG (+5.2%) bounced back after dropping to the trading floor on Tuesday. 
• Banks TPB (+2.6%) and VPB (+1.0%) advanced. Meanwhile, EIB (-5.7%) fell for its fourth consecutive session and was the day’s top contributing decliner.
