The VN-Index increased by four tenths of a percent on Friday, reaching a new all-time high as the day’s trading value on HOSE surpassed USD1bn for the second time this year. For the week, the VN-Index climbed 1.4% for its third consecutive weekly gain. BID (+6.9%) soared to the daily trading ceiling and was the top contributor to the day’s gain. Fellow bank tickers VPB (+1.5%) and TCB (+1.2%) also advanced. On the other hand, VCB (-2.2%) was the leading contributor among decliners. PLX
