The VN-Index declined two tenths of a percent on Monday as investors focused on selling bank stocks after recent gains. Bank tickers weighed on the index with CTG (-2.3%), TCB (-1.8%), VPB (-2.1%), MBB (-2.1%), HDB (-2.3%) and STB (-2.4%) dropping. vIC (-0.8%) and VHM (-0.6%) edged down; however, Vingroup subsidiary VRE (+1.8%) jumped to a 32-month high. GAS (-1.1%) fell for the fourth consecutive session. On the positive side, GVR (+2.8%) and MSN (+2.3%) were the top two contributor.
