POW reported weak Q4 2021 results with a loss of VND63bn compared to NPAT-MI of VND1,063bn in Q4 2020, which was mainly due to volume plunging at most power plants — including the Vung Ang coal-fired power plant’s volume declining 56% due a technical issue for its generator 1 (600 MW), which is half of the plant’s total 1,200 MW capacity.
