- Company Research
- PHR released Q2 2023 results with revenue decreasing 17% YoY to VND201bn (USD8.5mn) but NPAT-MI surging 136% YoY to VND122bn (USD5.1mn). The decline in revenue was mainly due to a 31% YoY decrease in rubber & wood revenue. Meanwhile, the YoY surge in NPAT-MI was primarily driven by VND69bn (USD2.9mn) of other income from old rubber tree liquidation (285 ha) compared to no rubber tree liquidation in Q2 2022.
- Financial income jumped 66% YoY to VND100bn (USD4mn) in H1 2023, which was mainly due to (1) interest income from deposits increasing 48% YoY to VND81bn (USD4mn) and (2) a VND16bn (USD0.7mn) of dividend income from Nam Tan Uyen JSC (NTC) — a 33%-owned subsidiary of PHR.
