Daily COVID-19 cases plummeted despite all activities resuming. Despite all social, economic and entertainment activities across the country resuming as normal and Vietnam celebrating the Hung King’s Commemoration Day public holiday, daily COVID-19 cases plummeted to around 5,000 as of end-April vs around 80,000 as of end-March. Average COVID deaths in the last seven days of the month dropped to only five per day vs 50 per day in the last week of March.
