HSG reported Q1 FY2022 results (October 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021) with revenue of VND16.9tn (USD736.2mn; +86% YoY and +7% QoQ) and NPAT-MI of VND638.3bn (USD27.8mn; +12% YoY and -32% QoQ), which resulted from strong export sales volume and continued high steel prices (average hot rolled coil (HRC) price in Q1 FY2022 was around USD840/tonne, declining 10% QoQ). HSG's sales volume of galvanized steel sheets and steel pipes reached 596,100 tonnes (+16% YoY) in Q1 FY2022.
