- GDT released Q4 2022 results with revenue edging up 6% YoY but NPAT slumping 20% YoY. 2022 revenue and NPAT rose 18% and 12% YoY, completing 107% and 106% of our forecasts, respectively. We see no potential change to our forecasts, pending a fuller review.
- Weak consumer demand and destocking across the value chain dampened customer orders. However, the situation eased in Q4 2022 as revenue bounced back 66% from a low base in Q3 2022.
- GDT’s GPM remained strong at 30% in Q4 2022 vs 29.2% in Q4 2022. In full-year 2022, the company’s GPM hit 33.7% vs 30.1% in 2021, beating our expectation.
