- CTD reported Q3 2023 revenue of VND4.1tn (USD171.8mn; +14% QoQ & +32% YoY) and NPAT-MI of VND67bn (USD2.8mn; +121% QoQ, vs a net loss of VND4bn (USD0.1mn) in Q3 2022).

- Despite CTD's gross margin compressing to 2.4% in Q3 2023 from 2.8% in Q2 2023, the SG&A expenses on sales also decreased to 2.0% in Q3 2023 from 3.3% in the previous quarter. As a result, the company achieved positive EBIT in Q3 2023 after eight consecutive quarters of EBIT losses.

- For 9M 2023, CTD reported revenue of VND10.9tn (USD453.0n; +31% YoY) and NPAT-MI of VND119bn (USD5.0mn) vs VND2bn (USD0.1mn) in 9M 2022. Strong financial income mostly derived from interest received from bank deposits, which continued to be a key contributor to CTD’s 9M 2023 net profit improvement.
