Vietnam’s FMCG posted strongest growth in years in Q1 2017. Per Nielsen, FMCG consumption across Vietnam rose 9.6% YoY, including 8.5% volume growth, in Q1 2017 vs 5.3% in Q1 2016 and 6.9% in Q4 2016. This was driven by robust consumption during this year’s Tet holiday and a rebound in rural areas.
